Position Description
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit two Automation Auto Electricians to join our growing team.

Reporting to: Automation Foreman
Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair mobile fleet equipment in the automation production area.
- Focus on Sandvik machine automation systems and drives.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems of heavy machinery.
- Use fleet tracking software for work orders and related tasks.
- Maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment (PLC Controls).
- Perform electrical fault finding and statutory testing.
- Lead and develop a team of employees.
- Report on planned and unplanned work regarding automation systems.
- Ensure preventative maintenance regimes are followed.
Qualification Requirements:
- Auto Electrical Trade Certification
- Mechanical Trade Certification
- High-level computer skills
- RCT Cert. 4 minimum (Cert. 5 favored)
- Sandvik System Specialist certification is highly preferred
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience with automation program installation and implementation.
Skills / Knowledge Requirements:
- Sandvik Automation Specialist, exposure to MCS systems, Optimine, and Lite Specialist.
- Working knowledge of Newtraxs.
- Ability to prioritize repairs and reduce downtime.
- Strong understanding of auto electrical automation systems and ability to interpret OEM manuals.
