Key Purpose of the Role: As a T2 Planner, you will be responsible for planning daily routes for all DCs, breweries, and spirit enterprises. You will also analyze these routes to ensure efficiency and help improve daily operations. The goal is to grow profitability and enhance delivery processes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with legal driving and vehicle regulations.
  • Track driver working hours in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Plan routes following geofence and road deviation protocols.
  • Comply with legislation and liquor norms.
  • Maintain site housekeeping standards and always wear the correct PPE.
  • Implement and adhere to DPO and LCP protocols.
  • Plan daily distribution for all sites and sales orders using planning systems.
  • Schedule distribution load plans and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Ensure effective operations on weekends and public holidays.
  • Analyze customer and depot requests to address inefficiencies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of complaints and queries.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders via email, Zoom, or phone.
  • Manage master data in Syspro and Route Builder for effective planning.
  • Lead and support people management meetings.
  • Track KPIs and performance indicators, using problem-solving tools to improve over time.
  • Submit reports related to DPO and performance tracking.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics and/or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ operational or planning experience in an FMCG company.
  • Experience with routing tools like Route Builder, FLO, or Roadshow.
  • Syspro knowledge is essential.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Swahili.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
  • Computer literate and customer-focused.
  • A proactive team player with a results-oriented mindset.
