Position: Laboratory Supervisor
Duration: 12 Months (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Nduta Camp & Kibondo, Kigoma Region
Reports to: Project Medical Referent

Introduction: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization providing emergency aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, and natural disasters. We adhere to the principles of neutrality, impartiality, and assistance based on need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with MSF protocols.
- Perform laboratory tests and sample collection (serology, hematology, bacteriology, etc.).
- Supervise lab staff and ensure equipment maintenance and supply.
- Manage laboratory data and report results to the medical team.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards in the laboratory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences.
- Registered with the Health Laboratory Practitioners Council of Tanzania.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lab, preferably in an NGO or clinical setting.
- Fluent in English and Swahili (Kirundi and/or French is a plus).
