Job Purpose:
CRDB Bank is seeking a Senior Specialist Core Banking System to manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of our Core Banking System (CBS). The role requires providing expert support to ensure system availability, collaborating on unit budget planning, and driving CBS-related projects. You will work closely with the Manager CBS Support and help resolve critical technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and recommend innovative solutions for system administration efficiency.
- Assist in managing the CBS Support Unit's budget and project execution.
- Create, modify, and disable user accounts as per requests and protocols.
- Ensure system health through daily checks and promptly resolve issues.
- Supervise EOD/EOM/EOY processes to maintain system availability.
- Provide second-line support for production, disaster recovery, and test environments.
- Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting and validating software fixes.
- Maintain strong adherence to SLAs for incident resolution.
- Offer guidance and training to CRDB employees on CBS-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of ICT Systems support experience in banking.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Core Banking System support.
- Expertise in CBS administration, system backups, and support.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with Backup/Recovery processes and Business Continuity.
- ITILv1 certification is a plus.
