Africa’s 100 most influential young People 2020

The Africa Youth Awards in co-operation with other Media this week on 3rd November 2020, published the 100 Most Influential Young Africans list for 2020 including three Tanzanians.

Africa Youth Awards is a prestige award scheme with the prime aim of appreciating the works of young Africans in Africa and the Diaspora.

The platform was launched in 2014, where by the awards provided inspired by the lack of recognition for young Africans who have selflessly dedicated their lives to making sure the future of Africa is optimistic.

Tanzanian 3’s Most Influential Young People in 2020

1. Diamond Platnumz

Diamond

Diamond Platnumz lis a Tanzanian bongo flava recording artist, actor, dancer, philanthropist and a businessman from Dar es Salaam;, Tanzania. His full name is Nasibu Abdul Juma Issack.

He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WCB Wasafi Record Label also a TV Station titled Wasafi TV & a popular Radio station titled Wasafi Fm.

Diamond know for his several hit songs like Kamwambie, Marry You, Mbagala, Sikomi, Jeje and more

2. Mbwana Samatta

Samatta

Mbwana Ally Samatta is a Tanzanian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club Fenerbahçe on loan from Premier League club Aston Villa. He is also play for Tanzania national team as a striker.

In January 2020 the striker signed a contract with Aston Villa from Premier League for the salary of 1.3 Million Euro (1.1 Million Pound) per year. Samatta began his career as a youth player for Tanzanian club African Lyon in 2008.

3. Joel Nanauka
