NECTA Results Form Two and Form Four 2020 | National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA); In Swahili, Baraza la Mitihani la Tanzania. This is an agency of the Tanzanian government, headquartered in Dar Es Salaam, that proctors tests given nationally.
The Institutions use to manages the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination.
History of NECTA
NECTA was established on 21 November 1973. Prior to that time the East African Examinations Council (EAEC) served Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.
In 1970 NECTA withdrew from the EAEC and the Ministry of Education Curriculum and Examinations Section briefly took over examination proctoring for Mainland Tanzania when it withdrew from the EAEC in 1971.
The Tanzanian government began hiring employees for NECTA in 1971, and Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 1973 established NECTA.
Today January 15, 2021 the NECTA announced the 2020 Form Two and form Four examination.
The Form Two results, which were announced by the executive secretary Dr Charles Msonde alongside Form Four national examination results has increased by 5% percent compared to 2019 results.
